Dedicated SOWA Digital engineers embed into your team and work under your management, in your processes and tools — you close a specific competency in 14 days on average, without the risks and overheads of direct hiring.
Middle and senior specialists across 8 areas — from backend to Data/BI, ready to join.
Completed and ongoing projects in banking, telecom and development since 2021.
Average time from brief to an engineer's first day in your team.
of clients extend the engagement after the first sprint working with the team.
IT Outstaffing is not an end-to-end project but reinforcement of your team with a specific specialist. The engineer is employed by SOWA Digital, but the tasks, priorities and Agile processes are entirely yours. If you need not an individual contributor but a team that owns the whole result, that is IT Outsourcing — a separate model with a fixed timeline and SOWA accountable for architecture, development and testing.
| Criterion | IT Outstaffing | IT Outsourcing | Tech consulting |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who manages the work | You — your tech lead or PM | SOWA — our own project team | You, with SOWA's recommendations |
| What you get | An engineer of the required level inside your team | A finished product, end to end | An audit, architectural decision, road map |
| Responsibility for the result | On the client's side | On SOWA's side, under contract | An expert assessment, without development |
| Typical duration | From 1 month, with no upper limit | Fixed, per project | 2–6 weeks for the audit |
| When to choose it | You lack hands in your own team and have your own PM | You have no development team at all | Before investment, scaling, due diligence |
Only middle and senior specialists enter the pool — SOWA does not offer juniors in the outstaffing model, because the client needs someone able to work independently from day one.
Every engineer in the pool passes multi-stage screening before ever reaching a shortlist for your request.
Only specialists able to close tasks without constant supervision from the client.
The pool covers most banking, telecom and development requests without bringing in freelancers.
The selection process is built so you don't spend weeks interviewing candidates who don't fit.
We clarify the stack, level, tasks, working format and duration — a short call or a written request.
We select 2–3 suitable candidates from the pool or fill the role through targeted search.
You run the technical interview yourself and, if needed, a test assignment — the decision stays with you.
The engineer connects to your tools and processes — on average on day 14 after the brief.
In outstaffing the engineer works under your management, in your processes and with your priorities — SOWA handles hiring, employment and HR but is not accountable for the outcome of the product work. In outsourcing SOWA takes on the whole project: analysis, architecture, development, testing and support with a fixed timeline. If you have your own tech lead or PM, choose outstaffing; if you have no development team at all, outsourcing.
Management is entirely on your side: task assignment, prioritisation, code review, sprints — all run by your tech lead or PM. SOWA is responsible for the specialist matching the stated level, being available during working hours and staying motivated — but does not interfere in the technical work.
The standard minimum is one month. For most banking and telecom projects outstaffing is arranged for 3–6 months with an option to extend, since that is the horizon on which the time spent onboarding an engineer pays off.
On average 14 days from brief to the engineer's first working day. If the specialist you need is already available in the expertise pool, this shortens to 5–7 days; if targeted search for a rare stack is required, plan for 3–4 weeks.
Replacing an engineer is free of charge within the agreed warranty period. If after the first weeks of work the candidate is not delivering at the required level, we find a replacement at no extra cost and without stopping the project.
Team reinforcement is needed most often by banks and telecom operators — where development load swings along with regulatory requirements and release deadlines.
Specialists familiar with Central Bank integrations, PCI DSS, anti-fraud systems and scoring.
